Who we are

RobocodeUK Limited, registered in England and Wales, is the data controller. Contact us at franchise@robocode.uk.

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, email address, telephone number, the town or area you are interested in, your available capital band, your timeline, your background, and anything you write in the message field. We also record the date and your browser's user agent string.

We do not ask for and do not want financial account details, identity documents or anything about your health.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry, send you the franchise prospectus, give you access to the configurators, and have a conversation about whether a Robocode franchise suits you. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box, and our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you started.

Where it goes

Your enquiry is stored on our server in the United Kingdom, in our Supabase database hosted in the European Union, and it arrives as an email in our Microsoft 365 mailbox. It is seen by the Robocode franchise team. We do not sell it, and we do not pass it to any third party for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Twenty-four months from your last contact with us, unless you become a franchisee, in which case your records are kept for the life of the agreement and for six years afterwards to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.

Cookies and analytics

We use PostHog, hosted in the European Union, to understand which pages people read and which of them lead to an enquiry. It is configured without advertising cookies, without cross-site tracking and without session recording, and it stores its identifier in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie. That is why this site does not interrupt you with a cookie banner: there is nothing here that needs your consent beyond what makes the site work.

What it records is page views and a small number of named actions: submitting the enquiry form, opening the calculator, choosing a tier or a currency, searching for a territory. It does not record what you type into the form. That reaches us only when you press send.

What the configurators collect

Nothing. The build and pricing configurators run entirely in your browser. A centre you design and the numbers you model are held on your own device and are sent to us only if you choose to attach them to an enquiry.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we are using it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email franchise@robocode.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update this page. It was last reviewed in August 2026.
